4th International Conference on Ships and Offshore Structures (ICSOS)-2019

The fourth International Conference on Ships and Offshore Structures (ICSOS) will be hosted by Professor Prasanta K Sahoo from the Florida Institute of Technology. The conference will be held on board the Carnival Cruise Ship Liberty from November 4 to November 8 2019. The cruise will take us from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and back with 3 full days on board for the conference.

 

Call for Papers: Scientific contributions in the following fields are welcome:

  • Design

  • Hydrodynamics and propulsion

  • Structures and materials

  • Stability and safety

  • Construction and production

  • Operation and lifetime care

  • Machinery and marine engineering

  • Ocean environmental engineering

  • Subsea engineering

  • Polar engineering

  • Conversion and decommissioning

  • Risk assessment and management

 

Format of Abstract/Full Paper and Submission:

Please submit your abstracts and full papers via email to:submission@icsos.info

 

You will receive a submission confirmation via email within 24h, should you not receive this email, than please re-sent your email to ensure it arrived securely.

 

Format requirements:

Abstract Please submit your abstract in PDF only with a maximum length of one page in A4 format. Include the title, the list of authors and the contact details for the corresponding author. Plain text suffices and a figure is welcome.

Full Paper Please submit your full paper in PDF only and follow the SAOS manuscript preparation guidelines already at this stage:

Registration Fee:

The registration cost for the conference: USD827 (which includes the conference the registration fee and the accommodation)

 

The reservation payment of 50 USD must be made by November 15 2018 Professors Sahoo’s Paypal business account (https://www.paypal.me/psahoo2993). On your end of Paypal, you can chose any payment option, but you must register with Paypal and create an account. Payment alternatives are not available.

  • Full paper selection for the journal: 18 November 2019

  • Submission the selected papers via online: 29 November 2019

  • Review by three experts but at fast track: 10 January 2020

  • Revision and acceptance notices: 17 January 2020

ICSOS has been conducting international conferences since 2016. The third International Conference on Ships and Offshore Structures (ICSOS 2018) was conducted in Gothenburg, Sweden. The conference seeks to provide a platform for selected high quality papers, from where the majority will be promoted to a special issue of the Journal of Ships and Offshore Structures (SAOS).
