Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) is the lead Centre in the area of Liquid Propulsion for ISRO's Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft programmes. Research and development of Earth Storable / Cryogenic & Semicryogenic propulsion and delivery of Engines, Stages, Associated Control Systems and Components for Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft programmes of ISRO are the main responsibilities of the Centre with its units at Valiamala near Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore in Karnataka.

Eligibility (For Scientist/Engineer-SC):

• B.E / B.Tech or equivalent should be in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65 % marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA 6.84 on a 10 scale.

• M.E / M.Tech or equivalent should be in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks or CGPA / CPI grades of 6.5 on a 10 scale or equivalent.

Selection Procedure:

• Based on the online bio-data, initial screening/written test will be conducted for short listing the candidates for interview.

• The Centre may adopt the method of conducting written test for initial screening or may directly shortlist the candidates for interview by fixing a higher cut-off percentage of marks scored in the essential qualification. Please note that the qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test/interview. If written test is opted for preliminary screening, the written test score will not reflect in the final selection process.

• The final selection will be based on performance of the candidates in the interview only.

 

How to Apply:

• Applications will be received ON-LINE ONLY

• Upon registration, the applicants will be provided with an on-line registration number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. One printed copy of the Declaration generated after registering the on-line application should be signed by the candidate at the space provided in the Declaration and sent to ‘THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, RECRUITMENT SECTION, LIQUID PROPULSION SYSTEMS CENTRE, VALIAMALA P.O., THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, KERALA – 695 547’ by ordinary or speed post so as to reach on or before 13.11.2019, otherwise the application will not be treated as valid.

 

Application fee:

• There will be a non-refundable application fee of `250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for each application (Except for Female/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/Ex-servicemen and PWBD).

 

Important Dates:

• Online application registration starts from 1400 hrs on 22.10.2019

• Online application registration closes at 1400 hrs on 05.11.2019

• Payment of application fee closes at 1400 hrs on 06.11.2019

• Declaration form should reach LPSC by ordinary or speed post on or before 13.11.2019.
